MSc thesis projects - Merging (Ultra)-Wide bandgap Sensors with Integrated Circuits
Here is a list of possible MSc thesis projects related to the theme
Merging (Ultra)-Wide bandgap Sensors with Integrated Circuits. This is intended just to
give an idea, actual projects are usually defined after discussion with the
advisor.
SiC MEMS for Extreme Environments (Stipend Opportunity) - EI-ECTM Synergy
SiC is a robust semiconductor that has been shown to operate up to 800 °C. Previous work at TU Delft has demonstrated the operation of SiC CMOS circuits in harsh conditions and the initial development of micromachining SiC to enable MEMS devices. This thesis aims to design and realize MEMS devices using SiC-on-Insulator structures to test in harsh environments. Such wafers are recently emerging to push the operation of SiC MEMS devices towards 1000 °C.
[2025-26] MSc Topics in MUSIC Lab
MUSIC lab MSc projects can include fabrication, device modelling, novel testing development, and system level circuit demonstrations. The topics here are a general idea but not the only options available - please discuss with dr. Dowling if you're interested!
